Hiya! I’m Suneet.
Imagine we’re together in a Carnival Fun House of Mirrors. I want to be the most authentic, honest, flattering, and confidence inspiring mirror you’ve ever looked into.
I’ve spent over 10,000 hours helping thousands of people and dozens of organizations get unstuck, find purpose and build momentum.
Along the way, I’ve learned three things that apply whether you’re working on yourself, your team, or your organization
- Purpose is the practical, tangible, and sustainable way to build momentum.
- You’re never more than 8 hours away from getting unstuck
- You’re never more than 20 hours away from feeling unleashed
It only took me 25 years in the workforce to figure it out.
I built my career across organizations of every size and shape, across every sector – public, private, nonprofit. We fought back from the brink, raised millions, navigated acquisitions, spinoffs and exits, and even survived hits from Mother Nature and global cyber terrorists.
And then, like clockwork, after 18-24 months of success, I’d feel bored, empty, and start self-sabotaging. I’d leave. Resign. Quit. Get fired. Rinse and repeat. Running away from the truth and running toward another honeymoon phase.
Good work and good outcomes aren’t enough when you don’t feel good doing the work.
I had to figure this out from the inside out. I had to start with me. I threw myself into traditional forms of self-discovery and self-awareness – no single lens or perspective felt complete. Nothing felt whole. It was only after I had exhausted my options, when I stepped back and looked at the full body of work around me, that I started to see patterns. Overlaps. Dots started to connect.
For me? I realized my most energizing and valuable work always centered around the people.
I turned decades of management experience into repeatable frameworks, testing them in executive coaching, team workshops, and eventually on conference stages. I realized that the fundamentals of my experience applied beyond me and were relevant for anyone seeking greater self-awareness as the foundation of their own purpose journey:
- Real, sustainable success starts with knowing yourself better than you ever have and better than anyone else ever will
- Purpose has never been a problem of “if” or “why”. The problem has always been about “how”.
People don’t question if purpose matters or why it’s helpful. They just want to know how to get started and do the work.
After working with teams as large 1,100, the “how” became clear. Purpose isn’t something you can cram for or brute force into existence. It’s something you arrive at through self-awareness, experimentation and iteration.
I created a reliable system that equips people to unearth, frame, share and live their purpose that starts with the greatest and most comprehensive understanding of themselves possible. I then started bringing that approach to life through Executive Coaching.
Until one day, when a 67-year old serial entrepreneur with an amazing family life and a successful role in his community approached me with a fascinating question: “Suneet, I’m still not sure why I’m here.”
Hell. If he didn’t know his purpose, did any of us even stand a chance?
His question turned my inspiration into my obsessive commitment. To help everyone I interact with make progress toward their own purpose, by giving them the most honest, most authentic, most flattering and most confidence-inducing mirror to look into.
The mirror we all deserve.
I turned my approach into a course that has been thriving and changing lives at Rutgers University. So much so that “Purpose” has been made a pillar of the University’s 5-year Strategic Plan.
And I used my values and approach to identify an exceptional fit with EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System, that brings the values I believe in intrinsically into a business operating context, helping 275,000+ organizations and leadership teams get more of what they want from their business.
Purpose isn’t a luxury anymore. It’s the starting point for everything you, your team, and your organization want. And it is always within reach … if you give yourself the space to do the work, the grace to iterate through and learn, and the frameworks and approaches necessary to keep you on track.
